SEED – Research -based mixed - media installation, 2025

SEED, the mixed-media installation of 2025 grounded in research and analysis of the artist’s own practice, explores the essence of artistic processes: a potentially inherent rhythm within (artistic) creation, the cross-fertilization of (one’s own) creative work cycles in interplay with their placement in everyday and related spaces, and the resulting synchronicities – or temporal dissonances – in the journeys of artistic or creative individuals. It further investigates the related potentials and vulnerabilities in terms of their communication and dissemination. A corresponding publication addresses the theme both academically and intuitively, exploring questions inherent to the work: inspiration and muse, intention, contemplation, (collective) consciousness, creative thinking, flux, play, activism and teaching; medium, belief, magic and spirituality; manipulation and power; (universal) rhythms, meaning, and other phenomena of sowing and harvesting—all conveyed through fragmentary, essayistic texts.
