SEED – Research-based mixed-media installation, 2025

SEED, the mixed-media installation of 2025, grounded in research and analysis of the artist’s own practice, explores the essence of artistic processes: a potentially inherent rhythm within (artistic) creation; the cross-fertilization of (one’s own) creative work cycles in interplay with their placement in everyday and related spaces; and the resulting synchronicities—or temporal dissonances—in the journeys of artistic or creative individuals.

It further investigates the related potentials and vulnerabilities in terms of their communication and dissemination. A corresponding publication addresses the theme both academically and intuitively, exploring questions inherent to the work: inspiration and muse; intention; contemplation; (collective) consciousness; creative thinking; fluxus; play; activism and teaching; medium; belief; magic and spirituality; manipulation and power; (universal) rhythms; meaning; and other phenomena of sowing and harvesting—all conveyed through fragmentary, essayistic texts.
